The DynaVaneTM style of mist eliminators represents a pinnacle of engineering excellence, featuring intricately designed vanes. These vanes are adept at expertly segregating liquid droplets from vapor streams using the principle of inertial impaction, where droplets are adeptly captured upon collision with vane surfaces. The gas consistently maneuvers through a meticulously crafted zigzag path between the vanes, achieving superior separation. Over the years, several core styles have evolved, solidifying the industry benchmark for a vast array of specialized applications.


Rhine Ruhr proudly crafts and offers the following standard DynaVaneTM styles:

  1. The VC single pocket range, distinguished by its chevron vanes sans drainage channels, delivers a streamlined and efficient solution.
  2. The VDC double pocket range is ingeniously crafted with enclosed drainage channels to ensure peak operational efficiency.
  3. The HC single pocket range, with its open drainage design, guarantees effective liquid elimination.
  4. The HDC double pocket range, featuring enclosed drainage channels, significantly enhances overall functionality and performance.
Droplet Removal Efficiency:
For any given droplet size, droplet removal levels can be precisely ascertained using centrifugal force calculations and Stokes Law. Rhine Ruhr has pioneered sophisticated computer models that can predict droplet removal efficiencies, facilitating the precise customization of vane geometry to meet any specific operational requirements.
The DynaVaneTM series exhibits an extraordinary droplet removal efficiency of 99.9% for droplets spanning from 10µ+ to 30µ+
In essence, droplet removal efficiency experiences an increase under the following circumstances:
  1. Rising Gas Velocity, which forcefully propels droplets onto the vanes, enhancing capture.
  2. Augmenting Gas and Liquid density differences, fostering more pronounced separation.
  3. Reducing Gas Viscosity, which facilitates easier droplet capture.
  4. Increasing Vane Angle, thereby optimizing droplet impact and capture rates.

Mechanical Design:
DynaVaneTM Mist Eliminators are meticulously crafted to align seamlessly with the specific vessel configurations required. Whether through loose segments supported by annular rings and/or beams secured with retainer bars, or vane packs designed to marry with a sealed gas box, the design is both effective and user-friendly.
  1. Loose segments, supported by annular rings and/or beams, are secured with retainer bars, ensuring stability and ease of assembly.
  2. Vane Packs, designed for seamless integration and secure attachment to a sealed gas box.


In every configuration, the complete assembly is ingeniously segmented to pass through access manways, facilitating straightforward installation within the vessel.
Each component, constructed from lightweight materials to simplify installation and assembly, boasts a robust build capable of withstanding diverse service conditions, including vibrations and slugging, within a thoughtfully designed and appropriately sized vessel arrangement.

Mechanical Design:
DynaVaneTM  Mist  Eliminators  are  custom  manufactured  to  be compatible  with  the  required  vessel  arrangement.  Installation can be either:-
·     Loose   segments   supported   on   annular   rings   and/or beams secured with either retainer bars.
·     Vane Packs designed for fixing to a sealed gas box.
In each case, the complete assembly is designed and supplied in sections which are sized to fit through access manways and are able to be man handled inside the vessel.
Vane  Packs  consist  of  DynaVane
TM  elements  fully  enclosed  in housings  with  built  in  drainage  sump.  Although  all  parts  are constructed from lightweight material to assist installation and assembly,   the   overall   construction   is   sufficiently   robust   to withstand   most   service   conditions   including   vibration   and slugging in a suitably designed and sized vessel arrangement.
