Product Description

Vane Type Demister Introduction
The DynaVaneTM style of mist eliminators represents a pinnacle of engineering excellence, comprising a collection of meticulously crafted vanes. These vanes are specifically engineered to precisely separate liquid droplets from vapor streams using inertial impaction, as droplets ingeniously collide with the vane surfaces. The gas embarks on a precise zigzag journey between the vanes, ensuring unparalleled separation. Over the years, several foundational styles have emerged that define the industry standard, catering to an array of specialized applications with precision and reliability.

Rhine Ruhr takes immense pride in the design and manufacturing of these exceptional standard DynaVaneTM styles:

  1. The VC single pocket range showcases chevron vanes without drainage channels, offering a sleek and efficient solution.
  2. The VDC double pocket range is ingeniously crafted with enclosed drainage channels, delivering superior operational efficiency.
  3. The HC single pocket range features open drainage, promoting effective and efficient liquid removal.
  4. The HDC double pocket range incorporates enclosed drainage channels, significantly enhancing overall functionality.
Droplet Removal Efficiency:
The precision of droplet removal for any given droplet size can be accurately calculated utilizing centrifugal forces and Stokes Law. Rhine Ruhr has innovatively developed state-of-the-art computer models to estimate droplet removal efficiencies, enabling the precise optimization of vane geometry tailored to meet specific operational demands.
The liquid removal efficiency of the DynaVaneTM series is a remarkable 99.9% for droplets within the 10µ+ to 30µ+
In general, droplet removal efficiency is profoundly enhanced under the following conditions:
  1. Increasing Gas Velocity, which propels droplets with greater force against the vanes, ensuring more thorough separation.
  2. Increasing Gas and Liquid density difference, fostering a more pronounced separation process.
  3. Decreasing Gas Viscosity, facilitating easier capture of the droplets.
  4. Increasing Vane Angle, optimizing both the impact and capture rate of droplets.
  5. Decreasing Vane Pitch, which enhances the thoroughness and efficiency of separation.
Mechanical Design:
DynaVaneTM Mist Eliminators are custom-crafted with meticulous precision to ensure seamless integration with specific vessel arrangements. Whether installation involves loose segments supported by annular rings and/or beams secured with retainer bars, or vane packs designed for integration with a sealed gas box, everything is engineered for maximum efficiency and simplicity.
  1. Loose segments supported on annular rings and/or beams secured with retainer bars for robust assembly.
  2. Vane Packs meticulously designed for precise attachment to a sealed gas box, ensuring optimal performance.

In each installation scenario, the entire assembly is thoughtfully crafted in sections, each designed to pass smoothly through access manways, allowing for convenient and efficient installation within the vessel.
Each component is constructed from lightweight yet durable materials to facilitate effortless installation and assembly, while the overall construction is robust enough to withstand a wide range of service conditions, including vibrations and slugging, within a strategically designed and sized vessel arrangement.

Mechanical Design:
DynaVaneTM  Mist  Eliminators  are  custom  manufactured  to  be compatible  with  the  required  vessel  arrangement.  Installation can be either:-
·     Loose   segments   supported   on   annular   rings   and/or beams secured with either retainer bars.
·     Vane Packs designed for fixing to a sealed gas box.
In each case, the complete assembly is designed and supplied in sections which are sized to fit through access manways and are able to be man handled inside the vessel.
Vane  Packs  consist  of  DynaVane
TM  elements  fully  enclosed  in housings  with  built  in  drainage  sump.  Although  all  parts  are constructed from lightweight material to assist installation and assembly,   the   overall   construction   is   sufficiently   robust   to withstand   most   service   conditions   including   vibration   and slugging in a suitably designed and sized vessel arrangement.
